Updating my home décor to keep up with the latest trends is a guilty pleasure of mine. I find myself making seasonal hauls to Target or Home Goods, because a new season is a perfect excuse to switch up my home styling.
Even if you’re not a trend-chaser like me, spring is a great time for a design refresh! Incorporating these top 5 home décor trends for spring 2021 will bring new life to your interiors:
1. Wall Murals
With every new season comes new trends, and this spring we’re getting creative with wall murals. Murals are perfect for bringing a modern and artistic touch to your home. They’re also a great option if you have little to no experience installing wallpaper and aren’t quite ready to take that plunge! Each mural comes in easy-to-install panels – typically 4 to 6 pieces, depending on the mural’s size – that are simple to match up and hang.
Murals come in a wide variety of styles, from artistic and illustrative to eye-tricking photographic realism. Explore the possibilities for your home by taking a peek through our collections!
2. Baby Blue
As people begin to dip their toes into color after a long era of neutral home design, baby blue is making a comeback. Baby blue is a great option for transitioning into more colorful design while maintaining the soothing look of neutral hues. Try it out!
3. Round Mirrors
The most stylish interiors this spring all have something in common – a plethora of circular mirrors. Mirrors are key when looking to enlarge a space, and now they’re just as important in creating visual appeal!
The reflective properties of mirrors increase the overall lighting in your space, and who doesn’t want that? Brighten and enlarge your space while enjoying the circular mirror trend!
4. Abstract Wallpaper
Abstract designs give us the ability to interpret a story through art. Incorporating abstract designs across your walls paints a picture in your home – both literally and figuratively.
Abstract wallpaper is also a great way to add dimension to your space without committing to a super-stylized pattern. This allows you to add depth to your interiors while creating a compelling and complimentary backdrop for all the design trends to come!
5. Functionality
Dual purpose home décor has been a major trend of 2021 and one we predict will stay around for a while. Especially since it’s become easier and easier to combine functionality aesthetic simplicity.
For instance, chalkboards are the epitome of function and are trending this season. We’re seeing chalkboard walls in modern homes, rustic homes, and every style in between Want a brighter look? Try our dry erase peel and stick wallpaper instead!
I am so excited to include these trends in my next home décor overhaul, especially the abstract craze – I can’t get enough of it! Which of these spring 2021 décor trends are you planning on using in your home? Let us know in the comments!
